Disaster and it's Mitigation

Image
Technologies for Disaster Mitigation. Artificial intelligence for Disaster Resilience. It will take lot of time and efforts to resconstruct the whole building & infra affected in disaster. AI can help to rescue the vulnerable people affected in disaster & assist in mapping and developing structures again. Following are the examples AI models are used to collect data predict the damages as shown in adjoining image. It's necessary to provide medicines, Food and health kit but extremely difficult to reach out affected areas ,AI provides aid in mapping the area & asses the  best route. AI provides GEO-tagging allocates vulnerables areas, routes and damaged buildings. It becomes more feasible in recovery and rescue mitigation operation. Pre-Fabs for after Disaster Natural disasters like cyclone, flood, & earthquakes can cause people deprived of their house. People affected in disaster pay heavy amount of financial loss. In such critical situations its not possible to reb...

Massive Black Hole

Image
Massive Black hole Discovered Near the Heart of Milky way A super massive Black-Hole has a mass more than one-Million times the solar mass. This is the first time that a collision leading to the formation of a black hole, which is 142 times heavier than the Sun, has been discovered by collaborators of Laser Interferometer Gravitational wave Observatory (LIGO) and  VIRGO  interferometer, located in  Italy . This newly- formed black hole , GW19052 , then sent out a gravitational wave which travelled a distance of 17.2 billion light years, and was captured by detectors LIGO and VIRGO. This is the most distant gravitational wave signal observed so far by the gravitational wave detectors. Black holes, formed when massive stars collapse and die, it is an invisible space located in the centre of the galaxy. It is packed with huge amounts of matter fused into a relatively small space So far, two types of black holes — stellar and supermassive Discovered STELLAR BLACK ...

World Largest Nuclear Fusion Experiment

Image
Fusion power promises to provide limitless green energy using cheap and abundant fuel.  Conventional nuclear power plants generate energy by splitting atom s , nuclear fusion involves smashing two atoms together. This produces dramatically more energy than the process of fission that we’ve already mastered and doesn’t produce long-lived radioactive waste. It also doesn’t rely on radioactive elements like uranium and plutonium for fuel, instead using abundant isotopes of hydrogen called deuterium and tritium. The only catch is that trying to contain a nuclear fusion reaction is like trying to keep the sun in a box. It’s the same reaction that powers all stars, and trying to corral that kind of raw power and turn it into something we can use effectively is  a challenge  scientists have been struggling with for decades. To get the fuel to fuse, it first has to be heated to 10 times the temperature of the  s un’s core, which creates a superhot plasma. To maintain ...

Stephen Robert Irwin

Image
" The Crocodile Hunter ", Stephen Robert Irwin   ( 22 February 1962 – 4 September 2006), nicknamed  " The Crocodile Hunter ", was an Australian zookeeper, television personality, wildlife expert, environmentalist , and conservationist.  Irwin was a passionate conservationist and believed in promoting environmentalism by sharing his excitement about the natural world rather than preaching to people. He was concerned with conservation of  endangered animals   and  land clearing   leading to loss of habitat. He considered conservation to be the most important part of his work: "I consider myself a wildlife warrior. My mission is to save the world's endangered species.   Irwin bought "large tracts of land" in Australia, Vanuatu,  Fiji   and the United States, which he described as "like  national parks " and stressed the importance of people realising that they could each make a difference. Irwin founded the Steve Irw...
