Disaster and it's Mitigation
Technologies for Disaster Mitigation.
Artificial intelligence for Disaster Resilience.
It will take lot of time and efforts to resconstruct the whole building & infra affected in disaster. AI can help to rescue the vulnerable people affected in disaster & assist in mapping and developing structures again. Following are the examples
AI models are used to collect data predict the damages as shown in adjoining image.
It's necessary to provide medicines, Food and health kit but extremely difficult to reach out affected areas,AI provides aid in mapping the area & asses the best route.
Constructional Features- As temporary houses have to be completed in short period of time in the event of disaster, materials such as iron frames produced in factories their waste can be used to develop columns for temporary houses. The main material which often implemented is Fiber reinforced polymer material (FRP),
FRP- 1) light in weight and easy for installation no special skill are required
2) They have an exceptional quality of withstanding heavy stresses and therefore used in major applications Eg aeropspace, military equipments (Ballistic armor), marine, automotive and construction industries.

Real-Time
risks map for disaster prevention
The Real-time risks maps show risks levels in colors
on a scalable map for landslides, inundation, rivers which overflow due heavy
rainfall causes floods. It enables viewers to recognize easily the location of
risks and their levels. This detailed information is generated by using
collected rainfall observations., analyzing and forecasting rainfall distributions,
simulating the flow of water underground and through rivers, evaluate the risks
of associated with past disasters.
The maps provides risk information taking into account
future risk 3 hrs ahead, enables to evacuate people in risk allocated areas
preventing loss of life.
MAP- 1) Light blue means that river is at lower risk
level.
2)
Yellow means at advisory risk.
3) Red at warning levels.
4) Light purple means above
warning levels
